Gibus MEDITERRANEA is the new line of pitch awnings. Models with easy functioning yet efficacious mechanics and protection, which make a big impact.

The models available meet the most varied needs: from structures “resting” against the home, to free-standing ones (Fly), from complete aluminium structures (Unica and Comby) or wood ones (Country) to fabric-systems to be incorporated into pre-existing structures (Slim) such as gazebos or pergolas. Considerable dimensions can be reached and they boast class 3 wind resistance. This technical class assures they can withstand winds with a maximum pressure of 110 [Nm] (Newton/m2), similar to persistent wind on an awning with a maximum speed of 49 [Km/h] corresponding to 6 on the Beaufort Scale.

The unmistakeable characteristic of all the Mediterranea awnings is the spectacular impact of the fabric. Whether in the stretched version or the windowed one, the awning gives maximum impermeability and protection. It can be used with all the undulated awnings or by alternating taut awnings with undulating ones.

Lateral closures can be made upon request to better protect the area from atmospheric agents and to create more privacy. Moreover, draped fabric can be added below the windbreak support bars to increase the effect of the awning.
